Many panels and my dash all seem to squeak and rattle when I drive. How can I make it all tight. It really irritates me .

on my 95 i found that damn near every screw in the dash was loose. I tighted them down and just about every rattle went away. The only thing i have is my rear seat rattles and annoys me real bad..

I found the same on my 91, now every time I do anything in the dash I take the 7mm and tighten every bolt I see. I also took and glued some thick vinyl on the insert of my center console to quiet it down.

Ugh my truck sounds horrible anymore from all the rough roads and off roading. The dash squeeks, the door panels, the rear plastics and especially the one on back of the roof, it keeps coming lose.. i fixed one which was my slider window.
I'll look into tightening the dash screws.

Mine does the same thing. Turns out a GREAT majority of it was **** rattling around in my console, glovebox, etc.

I used double-sided tape in my Neon to eliminate a lot of squeaks. It's thin enough that it won't interfere with the dash clips, but should stop stuff from tapping against itself.

Have a sqeek on my 93' between the steel steering colum and the plastic the curves around the colum. Its missing a piece of foam. Added foam and all is good.

I had the floorboard of my truck line-x and it cut out some of the rattling and it made it a little quieter.

Just this past weekend while my interior plastics were out I cleaned them up real good and sprayed the complete backsides with a thin layer of rubberized undercoating. No more squeaks in the cab.

Be careful on tightening those dash screws. Plastic likes to break when you try to make it not squeak anymore. I get some light creekage from my dash but its mostly where, or was where the bezel contacts the dash. I put some very thin foam all around it and stopped most of that. My door panels make a little noise sometimes but not bad. Its mostly the rear panels and I've tucked enough foam in places to stop most of that.

Anybody notice any significant noise reduction after a dyna-mat type product? I've always wanted to mat my entire interior for road noise. I'm just wondering how much squeaking and rattling is actually coming from inside the cab.

I'm sure 600+ empty casings in a box under the back seat isn't helping at all.
