i ahvea 96 with 60/40 leather seats, will oem bucket seats and console bolt right in?

like i said my 96 has leather 60/40 split bench seats.

i have been looking on ebay etc..for some grey leather bucket seats with the console.

when and if i ever do find them will they simply bolt right in or what will have have ahead of me to do?

i have the 2 buckets with center console that i would trade for your 60/40 bench. my buckets are not leather though. they are grey fabric.

I might would consider a trade (could get yours covered in leather)My seats are in excellent shape they only have 75k miles on them at the time.

the passneger looks exactly as it did when new with the drivers having under normal amount of wear that I've seen.

just curious though why would you want the 60/40 over buckets?

i've never been too happy with the buckets and console. i would like to be able to keep me stuff close to me as in the fold down middle console. and especially during hunting season. moving my gun in and out when dog hunting is terrible with the console in the way. the seats and console have a fair amount of wear. the laced catch all pockets on the back of the seats droop and the handle on the console is broken. but if you were looking into recovering it wouldn't really matter.

Id love to find a 60/40. Hate the buckets for alot of reason. 1. I just think it feels more like a truck with bench haha. And middle seat riders:aniteef:

I see, well I may be looking for a console and all in a little better shape. Thanks for the intrest though, and if someone else like him wants to trade and has grey buckets just let me know!

I just wonder what's involved with putting them in I bet they don't directly fit in too easy since thehy can't use the same bolt points.

The floorpan of yours probably has dimples where the holes would need to be drilled for your buckets if you are swapping chevy to chevy and within the same year. Check out the link I sent you earlier, it has a load of info you will be able to use.
I would have an interest in your current bench (if it is gray), let me know where you are located though so I can tell if it is feasable for me to look at driving there.

I have a 60/40 split in a 1993 GMC Sierra. I want buckets and a console! The are in pretty good shape, tan in color. Please email me for more info.

mine had a bolt in the hole where it needed to go, when i put the 95-98 buckets in it

You guys that want to get rid of buckets for a bench are insane. last thing I would want to sit in is another bench seat with a stray spring poking my ass cheek.
