I'm really scratching my head on this because it's been awhile but I think there has to be a AU3 or AU5 among those 3 digit codes somewheres but don't quote me on that 3 or 5 ? FinalBreath 01-06-2009, 10:16 PM What is the code for keyless entry? 85-bowtie 01-06-2009, 10:27 PM according to my rpo book, AU5 should be the keyless code Bigg G 01-06-2009, 10:30 PM They did a really nice write up in this forum a while back with keyfob programming instructions for OBD1 & OBD2 equipped trucks. If nobody chimes in try using the search feature by typing in key fob programming and that should get you a few good hits. bri26064 01-06-2009, 10:37 PM I bought it from the original owner. And it never had a remote control that I know of. What would I have to get to use a remote for the locks. Bigg G 01-06-2009, 10:48 PM I got an extra but my truck is a 95 with OBD1 and I'm pretty sure 96-up uses the newer but check wit a few folks in here or you could try FEE-bay. Just make sure your getting the correct GM remote. ZRACE1 01-07-2009, 01:04 PM When I bought my 98 Silverado last year it didn't come with the key fob from the guy I bought it from. I new that my 96 had a keyless entry on it and so should my 98. If it has power locks it should be equipt with the keyless entry system. I bought a key fob from ebay for my truck and searched the internet for the instruction procedures and TADAhhhh :rocking: I now have keyless entry. If I find that web site I will post it for you. Thanks Tony FinalBreath 01-07-2009, 01:17 PM Would you ship the key fob from the 95? Bigg G 01-07-2009, 10:32 PM Sure would.....check your PM mail. vBulletin® v3.8.2, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
