my DR side window has been acting up lately on my 99 sierra, sometimes it won't roll up and sometimes it won't roll down...well today i think it finally went out, the pass window works fine and the power locks do also, i'm guessing its the switch?

pop the switch panel out and do a probe on the wiring. just find one of the wires that sends the power out to the motor. if its got juice when you hit the switch, then its either the motor or the wiring going to it from the switch. or, if the motor is still tryin to move the window, then its bound up somewhere. on my 00 i had to change out the whole motor and cable assembly on the passenger door. the cable snapped in half and the window fell right down into the door. my money is on the motor, tho. thats usually what goes.

thanks for the reply man...i took the door panel off and looked it over and everything looked fine...turns out the previous owner before me had some little blue LED lights around the door speakers and had them wired into the hot wire of the window switch and it had a bad connection, i redone the wiring and it works fine now.
