I have a 04 sierra. I want whit face guages. When I seach for them all I find is 99-02. Wtf is the diffrence between those years

The way the information is handled from the BCM to the cluster. Different pins out and what not.

that wouldnt matter on a overlay would it?

with the overlay it's completely different shape to the gauges so you wouldn't be able to use a 99-02 overlay on your 04.

The whole cluster is different. The harness that plugs into it, the shape, and even teh way the lights are installed in them are different.
I know Stylin has some overlays, dunno about white face for your year though.

i just want overlays. Thats why I asking what the diffrence is.

ok i followed that link, and they sell led bulbs that fit behind the dash to change the gauge cluster color..has anyone done this yet? it says that its a bulb for direct replacement, and you dont have to re wire the entire dash..

amazing how one can look at pictures and not tell the diffrence then bam you see it.
