Becoming very tempted to install an inverter in my 04 extend cab. Mostly it would give me some thing to run the air compressor when i go qauding, but it would also be nice to have for my travels back and forth to Canada as well just in general
My plan is to install it on the back wall of the cab. Remove the carpet, glue some MDF to the wall, put back carpet and attach inverter to MDF
How ever, I haven't been able to find anything giving me some direction in removing the seat, let alone how much is back there. Normally i would just jump into and it and figure it our for my self, but i don't have the time time to screw around with it my self and take 2-3 days figuring it out my self
If any one could point me in the direction of some info (attempting search this forum with no luck) or just give me a quick explanation to get me started.
I was thing 1/4 MDF across the whole back of the cab giving me room down the road to install an amp (when funds allow). I AM NOT INSTALLING IT DIRECTLY TO THE SHEET METAL as i have been told by some, and even done by some installers... I figure PL 400 (not sure if you have that on this side of the border) would be more then enough to hold it on
Any advice is appreciated
Scott
