a/C controls. Not digital out of silvy

Ok guys I have a 2001 Tahoe with standard A/C controls and read defrost. Can i use the A/C control out of another 01 tahoe but it has the auto control settings like the blower fan has the auto click and the temp gauge part acually shows the degrees? Please let me know. Thanks

I would like to know this also. I do know that the plugs between the two units are differenet, which would require wiring....

Short answer is, no. There is no interior sensor to operate the digital controls, and probably harnesses are different.
