View Full Version : No High Beam Indicator-failed inspection Morgo 02-16-2009, 06:55 AM just bought a 97 GMC Sierra K1500. the high beams work but the blue indicator does not. how do you replace the bulb? i think that would be a good place to start. Thanks in advance! someotherguy 02-16-2009, 09:31 AM Remove the dash cluster, untwist the bulb, twist a new one in. Of course it's not literally that simple, you have to remove the dash bezel, disconnect the cargo lamp and passenger airbag switch connectors, and doesn't hurt to disconnect the headlight switch to get the whole bezel out of the way...but there ya have it. Richard kev2809 02-16-2009, 10:31 AM well put. never heard of that failing inspection. that dude must have been an ass to fail for that...but at least its an easy fix Morgo 02-16-2009, 09:15 PM Thanks! i thought it was a little harsh too. But he was nice. He let the 20% tint (on top of factory) go when it has to be 35 here. I need a pitman arm and this bulb and im all set :burn: vBulletin® v3.8.2, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
