LMC sells it...for 9 bucks!! I'd check the dealer first, that way you won't be paying/waiting for shipping, and it may be cheaper. It also might be available from some parts stores but I've never checked.

No, dimmer should be fine. Some say that their LEDs wont dimm all the way but I didn't run into that problem.

ya its still like $13 with shipping.
and I can get a hole new switch for $40 (I don't want to spend that much if I don't have to but just to compare)
witch light should I go with
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=CAR&keywords=&cart_id=5051191.18190&next=50
there is one that is 2 lumen and one that is 6 lumen. the 6 is flat with concerns me that it will not work right but I dont know if the 2 is bright enough (don't know what stock puts out)
and I will probably try a auto parts store again now that I know what its called

I have the 2 lumen one, the other ones are new product they came out with so I havent tried them yet. I would just do the 2 lumen one if you're not planning to go all out on LEDs. I'll get a pic for you later tonight

what does "go all out" look like does it change the color and did you do just the dash

I've replaced pretty much all the bulbs with LEDs, interior and exterior.
I meant, if you're not planning on spending lots of money on LEDs.
The color is different depending on what you get. I have the "Cool White" it's a white instead of the yellow hue the original gives out.
Same color as these:

looks good :10: did you do your gauge cluster too if so does it make it white instead of yellow. its ironic cause I have my gauge cluster out and I was going to put new lights in it while it was out.

Yeah, most LEDs will be white, unless you obviously get something listed under a different color. Just look at the Kelvin rating for the bulb you are getting, 4000K and up will give you a nice white. All the LEDs in the picture I posted I bought from V-LEDs and they're all rated at 6000K. I haven't done my cluster yet but I do have the LEDs, I just have to get the right sockets for them as mine were different for some reason.

any one know the bulb numbers of the 2 different lights in the dash. Im thinking about putting leds in there. I will not do all of the instrument lights just the ones that light up the cluster at night

k never mind I found them pc74 and pc194

They're 194s, there is 6 of them. All the other bulbs: turn signals, hazards, battery, etc are T1.5s, don't remember how many there is off the top of my head..8, I think
Get the 5 LED bulbs from superbrightleds, one LED point forward and the rest point radially.

Yeah those are it, the 74s will be listed as T1.5s though.

do u think its worth it to change those I would think you would just change the big ones that light up the cluster

Not really but they're cheap so I went and replaced them anyway though. If anything get four of the T1.5 LEDs to replace the HVAC bulbs.
Damn, I don't even remember, the driver switches took a NEO4 and a NEO3, passenger was a NEO4 I believe. Lights on the doors are 194s, lights by your feet when you open the door are 194s, dome lights are 211s, the map lights are 194s also. I have a Tahoe so the 2 rear window switches took a NEO3 each.

also I guessing that the ones in the radio can not be changed?

NEo4 will work for the passenger, driver and headlight switch. The only one that seems to be hit or miss is the smaller driver side bulb, I fit a NEO3 but other guys weren't able too.
