I have a 99 NBS truck and im having issues with my gauges.
Everything works prefect, except the digital display that shows the gear and the mileage and the trip meter goes totally black sometimes, and seems to increase in frequency.
Any ideas? Didn't find any fuses blown and the rest of the gauges work fine.

Its internal to the cluster. You can back hand the cluster and it may or may not start working. My brothers 99 did this and short of buying a new cluster from GM the only option was a salvage yard cluster. Problem was the truck had over 160,000 on it and the cluster from the salvage yard had 12x,xxx miles on it. We just documented the original clusters mileage and the mileage of the "new" cluster rather then going through the trouble of sending it off and trying to get it reset on the mileage somewhere. I think there may be a guy on ebay redoing these clusters and can keep or reset the mileage as needed after repairs are made to it.
