CTSY fuse

The ctys fuse blows as soon as I put one in, I just reinstalled the dome light cause I need the dome light for my alarm to work properly. Theres only one way to plug the connection together on the dome light. Cig lighter is hooked up as well. Can anyone tell me what other wiring I can check for grounding to stop the fuse from blowing ? 1992 fs chevy blazer 2 door.

sounds like you have an short somewhere in the wire hence why its flowing too much amperage which in turn is blowing your fuses, look over the wiring really good

Thanks, I'll have to rip everything apart and run threw the wiring !! Wonder if the rear dome setup is missing, could that maybe cause the fuse to blow ?

well if its missing it wouldnt be drawing any current so the fuse wouldnt blow if it doesnt have any amperage flowing through it

how many things are wired into the circuit? if you got too many things wired up too it its probably pulling more amperage than the fuse can handle

I believe its just the dome lights and the cig lighter.
