View Full Version : climate control JB 11-14-2002, 09:07 AM If I swapped out my ac controls with one from an escalade or denali with climate control would it work or is there something else needed besides the controls itself? Anybody done this or is planning this? The manual controls have two plugs and the auto has one. There is about 4 sensors (one being on the dash, notice how the vehicles with the auto climate have two sensors in the top of the dash and the vehicles without have one). There's also a sensor with a fan right above the driver in the headliner. (Looks like a speaker) It's a total rewiring job, but I'm going to see if I can do it. When I priced out all the parts before it came to about $350. Of course, I did some more research last week and found more parts needed. It'll be pretty involved, but I think it's possible.
