hey guys, i have a '94 chevy silverado extended cab & i slid my seat up the other day and now it wont slide back, wont move at all, all i can do is use the top lever to raise it down. could someone maybe walk me through how to fix this or something? i cant even find the bolts to be able to take the seat out haha. so please help me!

Probably the spring that runs across from one side of the track to the other has popped off, broken, or straightened one of its factory bends out so it's too "long" now.
If ya can't find the bolts to remove the seat though we may not be able to help you. ;) ;)
You probably have a trim panel covering the bolts on the driver's side; look closely at the front and rear of the bracket. Some designs have a screw in the front and back, some just have one screw and a tab in the back, etc.

well i know the metal wire running from one side to the other is broke in half and dangling down now. where can i get a replacement? and how hard is it to install it?

they are easier to replace if the seat is out,but it isn't all that difficult w/ seat in. go t your local j-yard and snag one.

no i dont think anything is caught in the track, i checked for that and i dont see anything in the way.
