Light switch

Gang,
The headlight switch knob has started to disintegrate in my '97 hoe. It was kinda grimy looking, so I rubbed it with my finger and the rubber/plastic pretty much started to crumble. Yuck!!!

What are my options for replacing it with something a little cooler? Billet? I don't want to go gangbusters with a full interior billet kit, but if I had to replace my climate control knobs too it wouldn't kill me :naughty:

ummm ae you looking for a cheap fix? or something to go along with the truck in your signature? lol

If its the truck in yer signiture Id prob look for something billit! haha or a set or newer styled knobs at a junk yard! youd be suprised what cool knobs will fit the most random vehicles with little or no mods...

ummm be creative! I had a few ford highboys that when the knobs went gross I glued on beer caps! I actually used a miller beer tap handle as my blinker handle! It was sweet! until you get piulled over at 2 am leaving a bar. automatic bretholizer~

Heh. Yes, this is for the hoe in my sig. I'd be ok with a stock replacement, but would rather get something cool if it doesn't break the bank. Will probably go billet.

Don't know what your interior looks like, but maybe sand off the rubber coating and paint them black? That'd be cheap, but who knows how it'd look (my parents have an OBS suburban with the same switches as you).
