drivers seat wont fold for rear access

My drivers seat in my 94 gmc will not fold forward so that someone can get in the back (ext cab). the recline works perfect. when i pull the rear entry lever nothing happens. is there a fix for this?

how do i get to it? do i have to remove the seat cover? or is it something in the tracks?

It has been a long time since I had my 94 work truck, but it did the same thing. The cable which runs from the handle to the release has a crimped on end that holds it in place that pulled off. If I remember right, it was under the trim piece on the side of the seat. I just took the handle and trim off, and followed the cable to the release.

Yeah I think thats where its at. It may be easiest to remove the seat from the truck then you can get to things better.
