Door speaker grill, how to get it off?

I need to remove the speaker covers in my doors in my 2000 1/2 ton. They are dirty and need to be cleaned. Can I just pry on them with some screwdrivers or will this mess them up?

i pried mine off only to find out its MUCH easier to take the door panel off..otherwise you'll never get them to stay b/c the tabs wont bend around when ya pop them back in

yup what he said.

easiest way is to take the whole panel off (2 screws in the arm rest holes and then pull off of the door) clean everything while your in there too. somehow mine had a half eaten sucker in there when i took it apart lol :think:

dont forget besides the 2 screws to take out the power window switch theres another screw behind it..i know because i have one door panel a little loose now b/c i didnt know it was there and just pulled it off after the 2 visible screws were out :lol: live and learn i guess
