I want to thank JP Customs for the info on painting my gauge pod. I did like he told me and went to an automotive paint store. I got SEM plastic prep primer. The paint store had the my interior color on file and mixed me a custom batch of dupont paint. I painted the Autometer gauge pod and it came out a perfect match with the factory interior color.

How expensive was the paint and primer?

It was a lot more than I expected, but well worth it. It cost $40.00 for everything. I had to get a pint of paint because that's the smallest amount they could custom mix. The SEM primer was $7.00, and I also had to buy this little spray can deal for $6.00 to shoot the paint with. NOw I have all this paint left over and nothing to do with it. Maybe I'll paint my steering wheel to match!!??!!??!?

That's not too bad, I was expecting it to be what all the body shops charge you -- about a base price of $100 supposedly because of the paint. $40 isn't bad as long as it matches perfectly.

Good to see it worked out.
