anyone have any ideas where i can get my ps2 mounted? i had it mounted under the rear seat, but had to pull it out when i had a custom box built for the subs. any info would be helpful

02 2wd silverado ext cab. sorry...forgot to put that in. hmmm i have a 01 2wd ext.cab and i was thinking the same thing i want to do that myself. its hard to find a place huh. i did see a pic in a trucking mag with a silverado with the play station where the passenges air bag used to be that is an option if u want to try that type of modification, looked pretty cool, or what i am gonna do soon is im gonna try to make a little box that fits under the dash(middle between the 2 seats) and extend it to the cup-holders and put it there. just a few suggestions. good luck:D

do you mind sending me pics of your truck? i have all the same audio stuff that you do and i also plan to lift my silverado.. i would really like to see what yours looks like. thanks for all your info....i also say that mag with the ps2 in the original passenger air bag spot and really liked it. also plan on building a console to hold the sony dvd changer and the sony ps2.....well see.

Trying to figure out where to put it. Either going to be an Air Bag replacement in the passenger side or who knows. Keeping all the stereo inside the truck, box under rear bench and amps on rear wall.

Now I have a cd changer and psII to try and mount lol.

Would it be possible to remove the glove box and put it there facing the pass seat? You should also be able to put a cd changer below it. That would be :rocking:

If u take it out all together and construct a custom housing, fibreglass or what not I think that would look pretty sweet and never really thought about it.

I may have to do that now :)

I'm pretty sure I'll undertake fiberglassing a housing where the glove box is. I'll have to go and take some measurements though to ensure it will work.

thats is the complication i am facing at the same time. i need to find a place to mount my 12 disc cd changer and where to put my new amp. i dont want it behind the back seat anymore where my amp is now its to hard to access it and to be able to adjust it whenever i need to. what i have to do is remove the whole bench seat just to see the damn amp. freaking sucks. what im planning to do is to remove my center consol that i have now and make a custom one where it goes from the dash to the back. ill make a slot for my cd changer on the side somewhere either on the driver side or the passenger side, a slot for my dvd screen that i will get soon in the front and a place to put my new amp either inside the consol or under it not sure yet but my bro told me that if i wanted to add this new stuff i would have to modify something preferably the center consol and either paint it the factory color or carpet it or have it covered in carbon fiber. just a few thoughts but i like the play station in the passenger airbag idea and have been looking at it in the truckin mag looks pretty sweet:D :D :D

You can always get a new middle console made, and have it equiped with more than just the PS2 (could also have a VCR, and Obserview). Would also give you the option of having a consealed entertainment system, so that it deters theft.

I plan on putting mine under my rear seat and mounting my subs in the middle console, and in custom enclosures on the sides w/ the amps in the rear doors...

My bro placed his in his center console as well. We made a special mounting plate to install it vertically and works really well.
