Anyone dye leather?

I'm looking for a bright blue leather. Anyone know if you can get it somewhere or have tips about dying white leather?

I want to add some red inserts to my seats, that might not be a bad ideal, I need to pic up some carpet dye next time im out looking so the carpet on my door panels

My mother in law is an upholsterer. She can get some nice stuff called mellahide. It looks very much like leather, but I was trying to compare the cost and hassle of having real leather. I will probably go fake:p

My final plans are to have blue flames coming off the front of the truck. I want the flames to come up over a smoothed wiper cowl and through the windshield onto the fake leather dash. Then stitch a small flame into the back of each seat. I am going to start with the headliner next month. I might try to flame it. It will look wierd because my seats are still red. I got the seat out of a wreck '89 that was red. Right now it isn't too bad. My interior is all black with red seats, but once the blue flames show up it will be odd:eek: for awhile:D
