View Full Version : Long overhead console P/N ? mikey 02-13-2003, 02:42 AM Hey guys, I have the short OHC, and I want to upgrade to the long one (ooh... that could be taken wrong). I can take mine down tommarow sometime (afternoon) and ge tthe part number, then if its not the same number as your short one, I think it should be right. As far as I know, those consoles havn't changed since when mine was made. You might have trouble mounting a longer one though, unless the hole for it is already there... :head: mikey 02-14-2003, 12:55 AM Cmon, SOMEBODY has to know the part number. I've seen several posts by people who have added them to their trucks... -M DanaliHD 02-14-2003, 07:34 AM 15769400 DanaliHD 02-14-2003, 07:37 AM http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2403709666&category=6775 Scream 02-14-2003, 11:07 AM If you wanna get rid of that short console, and it's graphite, lemme know! :D I've heard that the o/c from the 95+ truck is the same as those for the NBS trucks. Anyone know if this is true? DanaliHD 02-14-2003, 09:22 PM as far as I know they are the same from 88-2002. 97Silverado 02-15-2003, 07:37 AM Originally posted by DanaliHD as far as I know they are the same from 88-2002. That is correct. I think there is a small shape difference to the very front part where AC controls would go (like on a burban). I do know mine came out of a '02 Hoe. Looks like it was made perfect for my '97.:read: 99Z71Hoe 02-15-2003, 04:25 PM Originally posted by DanaliHD as far as I know they are the same from 88-2002. Not exact. Both my 99 Tahoe and 02 Silverado have the full length console but the Tahoe has a piece of elastic to hold the CD's in the rear most compartment, where the truck has a piece of plastic that stands up not allowing the CD's to slide out. Minor but different. vBulletin® v3.8.2, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
