while i was sitting in my car the other day listening to some music waiting till i had to go to my class i started thinking of some mods that i could do to the interior of my ride. i was thinking of taking out the light in my interior cab light ( the light in the headliner) and changing it to a blue color. i havent looked through my manual to find out what type of bulb and what # bulb it takes but i was just wondering if anyone in here has done it and how it looks. i know people will think it is kinda ricey but i kinda like the idea im sick of the color and i want to something new. also any pics would be appreciated......thanks.....TrEy:D

all mine are blue including my over head light, i dont know if they new boti's are the same but what i did was buy a blue bulb that just fiti n there but it would eventually turn greenish so i found these bulb gel covers at autozone and i use those now, they seem to last longer. maybe your's will be the same, as far as the others bulbs, they are all 194's so you it wont be hard to find some blue bulbs in that size. be careful taking of the curtesy light on the doors, they can be a pain sometimes. im probally gonna take of the blue cover off my overhead light b/c you can't see jack with it being blue.

i went to wal-mart the other night to see if i could find some bulbs that were blue and would go in the overhead light but i couldnt find any, im gonna go to a few other auto places 2day and see if they have anything. if i cant find anything ill just go to autozone and get those blue gel covers. thanks for the info HvyChevy271......TrEy:D

I use the blue gel covers as well, I've had one on there for about a year now. I actually have two layers of it b/c the package came with two so I slipped both of them over it. The engine light uses the same bulb as the domelight so I put covers on that too. :D It has faded somewhat but still looks really blue. I also replaced the floor lights (194s). People are always b!tching that you can't see in my truck at night but it looks cool and it matches my neons, my gauges, and my headunit. :D
