Does anyone have experience with a Dakota Digital dash for a 92 Silverado? Be curious to see pictures and hear feedback from anyone who has one or has had one.. What are the pro's and con's... My stock dash is hosed and GM want's $325 to recalibrate it..

Yeah, I've always heard the accuracy isn't the greatest. They're often off by like 2-5 mph.

Personally, I'd rather have a nice set of analog gauges. To me digital gauges are just too '80's.

My friend had a set of Cyberdyne gauges in his '83 Camaro and those wer the worst! They were temp. sensitive......another words, if it was below freezing out they did'nt work worth a sh*t!:D

I have used many Dakota Digital dashs in cars that we have built and they work great.
The one for your truck costs $525 and plugs directly into your original harness and uses your stock sending units and completes all circuits for the rest of your trucks electrical system. The dash only works in 88-91 trucks with the gauge package (not warning Lights) and not factory tach and 92-94 trucks with tachometer gauge package. I am a dealer for them and if anyone is interested I will sell them for 10% off the retail price. It would be $428 for the 89-91 type and $473 for the 92-94 style. E-mail me if interested.
