Has anyone re-connected power to the factory radio controls to display the time? I thought about it, cuz i dont like the cd holder pocket that lots of folks use, but i dont like the just dead display of the radio either.

If you have done this, maybe you can tell me which wires are which (save me some work)???

Just plug it in to the brain, it should work. :D

He cant, the reciever is disconnected to hook up to the aftermarket stereo.

A friend of mine had a '94 and somehow he had his wired up to where he could actually still use the factory radio AND his aftermarket at the same time! It sure sounded wierd as hell. I think whatever he had done eventually fried the factory radio because it quit working.

That's what I did at first. I ran separate power wires to the fuse box and also ran new speaker wire to the fronts. This way I could listen to the factory radio through back speaks, and pioneer cd through the fronts. It's fun to mess with people.

You could go to a junkyard and get the factory harness that plugs into the factory reciever, so you can have one that plugs into the aftermarket stero, and then a plug that plugs into the factory reciever.
