View Full Version : Custom1 - GOT my stuff.. please read
I got my Rollpan and tailgate kit from Custom Classics today. As every says, there quality seems to be excellent. I cant test fit it until i bend my exhaust pipes down, but it looks bang on.
HOWEVER i never got no instruction or mounting hardware as i thought would come with it. Im not too worried about the bolts for the top flange, but what else needs to be done for the rollpan installation/
Can you please email me the instructions on how to properly and securely install the roll pan?
and more importantly, can you send me the directions on how to install the flip handle kit for the tailgate? Looking at it, makes -0- sense.
Aside from the small ding *easily fixed when painting, and lack of instructions* i would stronly recommend the cc pan.
Going in to have the pan painted in 10 minutes. Should be on by weekend.

There are no instructions.:read: But to install the rollpan is fairly easy as long as you have someone to help you.
Line up the rollpan with the bottom edge of the bed sidesides. While you are holding it have a helper start dropping #10 self tapping screws into the top flange. You'll notice that on each side of the pan there is a vertical support flange. you have to lay under your truck and put in 2 #10 self tapping screws into those vertical supports from the back. Your helper may have to hold the pan sides so it lines up while you drill the screws in.
sorry, it wasnt the roll pan i am confused about.. thats no problem to install.
i also got a handle relocator for the tailgate. i cant figure it out. (for shaving the tailgate)

Could you put 3 #10 self tapping screws?
Do you have to lay on your back or can you be on your side?

According to Mil Standards, you cannot put 3 screws in due to the lack of proper edge distance that would result:read: :realmad: :realmad: :realmad: :realmad: :D
