Well since some of us have ... (BALLZ) ... mainly me and lalito ... this is what the product of our pimpness created :

   Custom Blue Window Control LED's:devil:

So... now your thinking to your self... dizzam... how can I grow some big phat ones like MacADaYear and Lalito212002... well first off start like this....

1)Take off window control unit
http://home.earthlink.net/~macadayear/images/Interior/Window%20Controls/unscrew1.jpg

2)Take apart the unit from the housing
http://home.earthlink.net/~macadayear/images/Interior/Window%20Controls/unscrew2.jpg

By this time... you should feel your ballz growing slightly...

3)Now its time to take the switches off the unit... the best way is with a flathead screwdriver under the side of each piece...
http://home.earthlink.net/~macadayear/images/Interior/Window%20Controls/switches.jpg

This is what you start with... you can see the fiber optic and stock bulb with cover on it...
http://home.earthlink.net/~macadayear/images/Interior/Window%20Controls/windowcontrolsinsidebefore.jpg

4)Once you get this all apart... you take the circuit out of the plastic piece and you should have this at the end of this project...
http://home.earthlink.net/~macadayear/images/Interior/Window%20Controls/windowcontrolsinsideafter.jpg

You can see where the 2 LEDs are now there in place of what used to be a bulb....

I had to route the resistor around like that so it wouldent short on anything or get in the way

Ok.. so now you have 2 LED's soldered in there with your resistor and you really think you ballz are draggn low now... but NO NO NO... there is one more trick if you wanna scape nutz like me....

5)Use some sort of reflector... in my case some insulating tape I found laying around... Ill bet some tin foil etc will work too....
http://home.earthlink.net/~macadayear/images/Interior/Window%20Controls/Window%20Controls%20008.jpg

The point of this being to reflect the narrow LED beam back into the fiberoptic thus creating way more light and thus making your ballz hang way lower as in the case of my nutz....

So... you started with this :

And how you have this :

Hope this helps... lemmie know if you guys like it

Hey, so you would suggest using 2 3mm instead of one 5mm?

And did you use the single LED for the cluster lights or the 4 wedge shape ones?

First reason is you get way more lights with the 2 smaller Led... and actaully the LEDs I had to chose from the 3mm ones were brighter than the 5mm and have a wider viewing angle...

Smaller LED's and more spread light is better because you are tryin to get the light to reflect through the fiber optic...

For the cluster I used the 4led 194 bulbs....
