i'm having the tailgate relocator kit put on this week, hopefully gonna be able to drop off the tailgate at the shop tomorrow(i'll call them in the morning while i'm at work and see if i can drop it off after work)
i was also gonna stop by the other shop where i was gonna order the tonneau cover,
but i was unsure if when they do the tailgate handle kit, if they will have to remove the tailgate top cover? cause it'll make a big difference when i go to order the tonneau cover, since the protector that is on there has the lip to it that sticks out about an inch? behind the tailgate. With your kit, will they be able to reinstall that?? or will it be left off the tailgate?
or will it just depend on the shop? i want to find this out before i go ahead and buy the tonneau cover, or would it be best to wait till i get the tailgate back and then take it to the other place so they can more accurately order the right tonneau cover for me?
