I need to know how we remove the armrests on a '90 gmc with the bucket seats. We need to take them out to put in the custom console I built and we dont want them wrecked.

MacADaYear 06-21-2003, 04:20 AM Well I dont know about you specific truck, but I just installed new leather on my 00 Sierra and to get the armrests off I had to reach in from the back and take off a c-clip type deal that went around the post from the armrest. They are difficult, actually you can reach the c-clip easier from the front if you move the foam out of the way. First you gotta remove that rubberband. Make sure to install the c-clip and rubberband back before you install the covers, that way the armrest just snaps back in. vBulletin® v3.8.2, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
