View Full Version : Flouresent paint?
So, I was thinking of redoing my 85' dash gague, and was looking at paint colors, and noticed a flouresent(sp?) red. Then I had the idea of painting my gague dash and or cluster that color and installing black lights both behind the dash, and outside.
Retarted idea? I'm in needs of other opinion as to whether it could work, or if i'm an :assclown: thanks
well, i found some glow in the dark pain stuff, so I may try that on my ac vents or something. just an idea. Now i just have to figure out where i would mount a black light in an inconspicuous place.

good luck, should be interesting
I saw a ricer with NEON blue dash lights in his guage cluster, I could see it from like half a mile away.

If you are looking for flourescent or the "Black Lights" then you should get them from www.superbrightleds.com After I ordered the blue for mine and installed it I noticed they came out with black light 194 replacement bulbs. I am not sure what size your truck takes but you should definately give it a look.

Be careful of where you actually use this flourescent paint. Try to keep it in areas that the sun won't hit. Most flourescent paints that I've heard of are very unstable and fade very easily with exposure to sunlight.

well, this one glows in the dark, so it's "recharged" by the light. Tahoe, I'll give them a try, thanks.
