OK all, i know i dont post much, but this is the first place i come for info for my truck. I have a 1991 Chev K2500HD reg cab long box, and i have a buddy who has a 96 GM parts truck that has seats and dash in it. The question i have is whats involved in puting the seats in to get rid of my nasty bench and does any one have pics of buckets and benches out of 96 trucks???

Second Question is would it really be worth it to swap the dash, because well there is a WHOLE parts truck, and he says the dash is there, and how hard is it really to do??

reason fo this is my truck is really really miled out, and i have wiring problems already ( the old girl has 511, ooo K's on it (Ks are because im in Canada, i dont know how many miles that would be) and i have to fix the wiring anyways soon)

THe seats and dash are Red so i figured i would paint the dash and recover or just throw a seat cover on because my interior is silver/grey and blue

Any info is much appriciated and so ar pics:rocking:

here is some current pics of my interior

I think the seats are doable, but the dash is too much of a PITA. :D

If you have his complete donor truck and you have the time......I would do it. It's not easy, but if you have problems anyway....why not do it. You may run into a slight problem w/ the wiring to the guages/motor comtrols so contact www.speartech.com and ask if they could help you out w/ a harness first.
