whats a good brand/place to get some new carpet for my 96 1500 reg cab that wont cost me an arm and a leg, i have a w/t model now so i have no carpet. also does it come with carpet for the rear (behind the seat), because all i have is metal right now. and as for new headliner, does anybody make some headliner carpeting that would match the carpet? how much do they run? thanks!
I would just get the GM carpet. Yes, it will cost you more, but the aftermarket brands don't fit/look just right. BTW, the carpet piece on the back of the cab DOES NOT come w/ the kit. Headliner material can be bought at any interior shop.

I'm planning on putting buckets in too... it'd probably be best to go ahead and get carpeting for buckets... that way i won't have to worry about replacing it a few months later....
I bought new carpet for my '94 from GM and it was around 300 give or take.
I have no idea what that piece of carpet is called, just tell them you need that piece.
The headliner may be cheap from GM...never looked into it.
The GM carpet is the same no matter what the seats are. They come w/ the 2 outter most holes on both sides. You have to make the rest for the buckets or brench.
I rhino lined mine myself for about $35, and it kicks butt. when it's dirty i just bring out the hose.

I had a 95 with the rubber mat and replaced it with the carpet that I was able to buy through JCwhitney (Proline was the brand I believe). My interior was that dark red. The new carpet had the padding and looked great, after two winters in Indiana and one in SC it still looked brand new. Mind you I wash the truck about every week and vaccuumm often too, but it held up great. It was about 130 and was the best money I spent, made the interior look 10x nicer.
