View Full Version : Guys that I'm doing headliner layouts for
grounded

Ran into a snag. I haven't been able to find paper big enough to do the flame layouts on. The best idea I've got is tapeing several larges sheets of paper together and and having you guys put them back to gether than cutting the flames out to use as patterns.
I'm up for suggestions, guys.

use poster board, draw your flames out, and cut them out, then put it between your ceiling, and headliner, for some 3-d flames :D
I have some big "E" size paper at my job.:naughty:

Hey, grounded, i just had a thought. Could you leave space in the design up front for a sunroof? Ill get the dimensions to you in a sec, but i just didnt want you to do all the work and screw up your design with a sunroof.

Why don't you just do the drawings in scale and then when you transfer them scale it to the size that you want. You can use a gride pattern then you do not have to worry about the large paper size. let me know if you can't  of what I am trying to say.

I thought about that, but it's easier if I just do it full size.
If I was smart I'da had Dougy toss a few drafting tubes in the box this way i could send them out in them. Oh well i think i've got a few that i "borrowed" to bring art work home when I was in highschool.:D
1. Now you're pushing it.
2. Not in a box, in a FedEx triangle "tube"...barely fit.:D
3. Just fold them when you send them out.:read:

Send them on a 11x17 or bigger envelope. I send multiple pages out like at all the time.
BTW, Izzy sent me a 36" x 6" sticker in an envelope that came of a dozen roses....and he jumped on the bish to get it in there too boot! :cussing:

1buda-Tribal flames
SportyShorty, what was I suposed to do for you?
Anyway guys, I'm useing single sheets for the layouts, you should be able to center them and get it to work out. If not I'll redo them, this is a little trial and error. BTW the outlines are a bit rough, because I've got a time issue on how long I can use the dineing room table, 'cause of holiday crap.
Oh to the guys that asked about cost, since Doug hooked me up with the paper all i need is a few bucks for shipping.:D

Havn't gotten the check yet, but todays mail hasn't come yet. With all the holiday mail, I figured it'd take a little longer. Somehow I forgot yours though when I sent out Outlaws, so it's gonna end up being late. Sorry, bro. Hope it isn't an inconvenience.
