All my interior panels (except dash of course) Is currently removed to prep for painting.

My exterior is currently red (with spots of primer here and there) and I plan on repainting the truck back red.

I was thinking, and instead of painting, what would all my interior look like covered in black vinyl. Does anyone have any pics of the sort? I've never heard of or seen anyone that has done this.

My headliner is crap. When I took it out the factory compact foam is more or less falling apart. I have the new LMC truck catalog for our 88-98 trucks and they have an ABS molded plastic headliner that is supposed to fit exactly as factory would. --- Does anyone have any info on this headliner? As in: Do the mounting holes line up, is the fit/finish as OEM?

I want to take off whatever color I get on the headliner and put the Memphis car audio in 1/4" compact foam and vinyl over it.

Thanks in advance!

Well, it might be hard to get the vinyl fitted correctly, but it would look good. Honestly, I would just paint it. I recently did my ENTIRE interior black, and it looks awsome. If you are going to use spary paint rather than a compressor/gun, I would recommend DupliColor's Vinyl and Fabric paint for the softer stuff (glove box, top of door panels, all vinyls things) and the Krylon Fusion for the harder peices ( most of door panels, pillars, hard plastics). When I did mine I didn't prep it too much other than wax and grease remover, and it hasn't scratched off since.
Well, good luck man!!
