If your mounting a fuel pressure gauge inside the cab, you have to go electric because you don't want to route gasoline into the cab.

Yo don't have too. Get the Mech. guage, they are more accurite. In order to run the Mech. guage in cab you have to buy an isolator from AutoMeter. The fuel goes to the isolator in the engine bay and from the isolator to the guage in cab you use a water antifreeze mix.

The difference between the two:
The electrical one will have a sending unit mounted in your fuel line, or your tranny, or your radiator or wherever depending on what you are measuring. Then you run a wire from the sending unit to the gauge in the cab.
The electrical will actually have a line from what you are measuring to the gauge. So you would have a tap from the fuel line, or a line from the transmission or radiator running into the gauge itself.
