im about to get a katzkin leather interior kit because my leather is pretty much shot and wanted some opinions on my color idea. i want to get the sandstone wrap with the "everglades" crocodile insert and the everglades door panel inserts as well. do you think that would look good with my tan interior in my 97 2 door hoe? what other color combinations do you think would look good? i prefer to keep it looking somewhat stock but its not a necessity

Desert is a better match with Katskinners for the factory interiors. Your steering wheel and bezel is black or more correctly (dark graphite). You can go with that if you wanted. The everglades is fine but they will not give you everglades door material. At least not without you paying out the butt for it. The everglades is very exotic feeling and looking, but definitely not that comfortable to sit on and it would probably look pretty bad after a year of being sat on. It is just molded leather with a tough plastic type clear-coating. The other option you always have is to try and match your exterior paint color as close as possible.
I would pick something you know you are gonna be happy with for a long time.

so desert is the closest match to the factory tan interior? the little sample on their website doesnt look like its too close of a match but it could just be my monitor or something. do you think desert with graphite as the two-tone insert would look nice?

I thought about doing the reverse. I have the graphite seats but my headliner is tan. My truck is pewter so I think a two tone with tan in the center would look sweet.

You can get swatches from them if you call them. They will send them out to you. Or they used to. But yeah... desert I believe is the closest, but you can also ask them too. I think that would look pretty sweet. If I had a tan interior truck I would do that, but I would change the carpet or headliner to graphite/black color to match.
