View Full Version : How do you remove this???????
I have been working on my interior all weekend and I need to get some peices off of my door panels. They are the two plastic panels that are to the left and right of the grab handles (88 silv.). The one closer to the front of the truck has the "silverado" emblems. Anybody know how to remove those panels things??? I already brke one trying, but can get another from a junkyard.:(

I really think they are not made to come off, if they do it would be from the back of the panel...I maybe be wrong it's been a while since I took off an 88-89 panel.
They don't come off the door panel w/o breaking.:(

CKTA is correct! I took my doorpanel off thinking it would be easier for the cover to come off ,nope!! Its like the tabs are clued on. I just pryed mine off , recovered them, and clued them back on with clear epoxy. They been on since 96 and havent fell off yet!!

I think I got it from lowes. It was the kind that has 2 tubes with a plunger,(looked like a big needle) . It was a 2 part mix, it was a hardner, and resin. I just ran it around the cover and stuck it back on. The reason I got the clear kind ,was I did not know if it would bleed through, and look like super glue when I was finished, it didn't. It is easier to do it with the door panel off. That way you can lay it flat and put some kind of weight on it while it dries. Good luck.
