I know alot of you have the same problem with the bulbs burning out in your OEM radios.
Well after searching and trying to decide either to buy a new radio or send mine to the shop and pay $75.00-$100.00 to have them replaced I decided to dig into it myself.
Its not really that hard, just time consuming and a little patience.
I couldnt find the bulbs anywhere at any store including Radio Shack.
I finally found a web site that sells the bulbs by themselves.
www.corvetteradio.com I called them and they were very helpfull at explaining what to do and what I will need.
I got all 10 replacement bulbs for $20,free shipping. The have 7000 life hours. The stock ones only have about 2500 life hours from what they told me.
The bulbs are not plug and play, you have to desolder and remove the old ones and solder in the new ones. I have no experience at this and did it the first time with out any problems.
Just thought I would share some info on this and hope it
helps some of you.
