Ill give u the story and then someone maybe able to understand and help, but hurry cause my windshield is gettin awfly steamy. about two years ago i was at a red light at a dead stop and a "f"ing Cadillac rearended me at about 40 mph. I walked away without a scratch but my frame was bent and some stuff had gotten screwed up in the car, his was totaled and he had to go t the hospital. to this day, i only get heat out of the floor vents, i have worked for hours trying to get the switch to work so i can defrost my windshield but i cant make it happen. i spend alot of cold days driven around with my window open. it sucks. any help on fixing this problem would be awesome.
thanks
What year truck?
Most likely a broken/missing vac. line or if it's a newer truck...the control panel itself.
Or.....the "shock" of the accident broke or messed up the "flapper" in the ducts.

the insurance managed to fix alot of it, and i had a rental car for about 9 months as part of it, but a few things they did not take care of which leads to a longer story, i thought it might be the vacuum but i aked that earlier on the schematic thread and i was sent a response saying it is all electrical and that there are no vacuums, let me knwo what you think and let me know if u have know of nay good sites with schematics for a 4*4 95 4dr Tahoe. thanks
They are right...it is electric. Do all the other functions work like they should on your climate control panel?
