Just thought I'd throw something different out there because all I ever hear about it flowmaster this or gibson that. I had never heard of flo-pro but when i went ot have my exhaust installed I was hell-bent on flowmaster 40's. Well I get in there and I see this great looking mufller for about the same price as a flowmaster 40 series. After taking a look at it and hearing a truck with the same setup I have now I was sold.
check em out at http://www.flopro.com/homepage.htm

if you have any questions feel free to pm me or just reply to this thread.

Kinda look like the old Thrust products. How does it sound?

The owner of the muffler shop that did my work ran a Flo-Pro. He said he liked them best because they performed well, were very durable, and very quiet.

His opinion was that the following was a proper order of mufflers as they related to noise output.

1. FlowMaster (loudest)
2. Magnaflow
3. Flo-Pro
4. Borla
5. Gibson (quietest)

Man I am glad to see someone else posting out there that has and likes Flo-Pro. I did a lot of research when I did my exhaust and finally decided on the 3" Flo-Pro. I couldn't be happier. :)

Flo-Pro ROCKS!!!:rocking:

Oh no, I have a MagnaFlow and couldn't be happier... :)

But I think it says a lot when the owner of a shop that does nothing all day every day but custom exhaust chooses the Flo-Pro for his personal ride...

By the way, he had a sweet Denali with dual Corsa tips out each rear side, it was so very sweet...

Flo-pro?

Oh no.

I had a 3-3 on my truck. Actually, to me, it sounded very similar to my current Borla setup (although not as deep).

The muffler guy (redneck) told me that flo pro uses the same technology as flowmaster...

I love my flo-pro. sounds better on top than a blowmaster in my opinion. there's a guy at my school with a Z the same year as mine running dual flowmaster 40's and everyone agrees mine is better. His idles louder but when we both get on it his cracks and pops whereas mine is smooth a silk all the way to redline.

just installed flo pro 2505 using all stock pipes on my V-MAX. Mello deep idle, gets real throughty(sp) from 2000-3000, more mello and deep out to redline, no resonance. I've had flowmaster, and magnaflo on other trucks and this muffler is sounden real good to me.
