Alright guys (and gals), I have been wanting to drop my truck since I got it, and now that I've got a little extra money, I believe that it is time to drop my truck...

I have been thinking, and I know that BellTech is more expensive, and if I bought from them, I would just be buying the name. So, I am going with the DJM suspension.

Now guys...I would like to know (hopefully from experience) What are the pro's and con's of this drop...oops...that would be the 4/6 drop or the Level 2 Calmax drop. Hopefully I didn't just make a fool out of myself, but isn't the Level 2 and a 4/6 drop the same?

Anyhow, guys if you could give me some pointers, and possibly some pics of a truck with that drop, and where is the best place to buy from, because I know that stylinconcepts has the kit, but I don't know if i could get it somewhere else for cheaper.

Thanks fellas...

the DJM Calmaz level 2 is the 4/6 like I have.. I have only good things to say about it, no cons at all. It's an awesome kit, I wouldn't let belltech look at my truck let anyone put a lowering kit on it.

I did the online order thing, is that sufficient? And does shipping take forever, or are they pretty good about getting your product to you in a timely manner?

BTW...I just ordered my DJM 4/6 this morning from stylinconcepts.com now all i have to do is wait, and i hate waiting...I don't know if my truck will be dropped before dallas though...we'll see

everything i've ordered from SC has taken FOREVER to be shipped, it took 1 month for them to get my ac panel to be and it was in stock.

Jody gets all his parts through godfathers, so thats where I get all my stuff at.

i ordered coil springs from stylin concepts for my s-10 on 9/11 and received them 9/14.

what comes in the level 2 drop kit? lower control arms, 1" coils and flipkit?

FeeD...check out my webpage, and click on my link page, and click on the djm banner, it will tell you what all comes in the Level 2 Calmax drop kit. Or you can get a hold of a sport truck mag, and check it out that way.

I ordered some DJM spindles for my truck a couple weeks ago. It only took them about 3 days to show up. The only problem was, they were the wrong ones. So, I shipped them back to get the right ones and from the day I shipped them back till last Friday when the right ones showed up, it maybe took a total of 10 days. I'd say they're pretty good with customer service and shipping. :)

He lives in Wichita Falls? Who is he? How old? We may not be a metroplex, but we're still around 100,000 population, so I don't know everyone. ;)
