i have run into another problem. I recenlty tweeded the bottom of my door panels, and I had to cut a straight line out of the tweed. ( I have an 88. I tweeded the panel on the bottom where the carpet was, basically replaces it with tweed) My problem is that I need to find a way to keep it from fraying. Is there any possible way??? If I fold it over and sew it, I am going to have to do it over and make a peice to fit exact, which will be hard to do seeing as how I have flames behind the tweed(foam). Is there any kind of spray, tape, or whatever that can keep the edge of the tweed from fraying apart over time??? it's not that big of a deal, but when it comes to my truck I tend to be sort of a perfectionist. Anyways, thanks I you guys have any ideas. Later!!!!

you can get a piece of something somewhat ridged yet fleaxible. I am thinking like the peel and stick foam insulation that comes in a roll but is narrow and thin. You can apply adhesive and tweed to this, roll it over without pulling it tight(so it maintains the exact dimensions) and then applying it to the joint are to cover the frayed edge with adhesive.
May try something more ridged, but you get the idea.
