I need to take out the seats in my reg cab chevy. I went out and looked at the bolts holding it in and the rear bolt is a male torx buts the front is strange looking. I heard you need a special tool from gm to get it out. Is this true? Where do i get it?
Nope, just find a socket to fit it. :D

Ya, Im pretty sure you can get a SAE socket to fit on it pretty good. I took mine out last summer. Took about 20 minutes. Piece of cake:D

Pulled my front seats today...used a couple different sized sockets..front nuts were bigger than the rear bolts. Don't remember exactly what size, though, but I'm sure they were commom sizes.

:word: you use regular sockets to get the bolts out. and remember, your seatbelt chime is hooked into the bottom of your drivers seat. I forgot about mine and kinda ripped the wire out. oops!
