would u buy a heated/cooled steerin wheel?

my buddy is thinkin about designing a heated/cooled steering wheel as an "add on accessory".

do u guys think this is a marketable product?

how much would u guys pay to buy one?

I think it is a neat idea, especially for people who live where it's cold, but I think a cooling system wouldn't beneift much thats just my personal opinion, but again I personally don't have enough contact with the steering wheel to really notice a difference...

Buy one, no, but it would be a nice factory option. It would be nice for days I forget to grab my gloves out of the pickup and I am stuck with cold gloves to drive with.

I would buy a heated one if it were cheap enough.

to cool it, a peltier would most likely be used, and that would be a decent amout of power draw.

I almost think that heated steering wheels are offered on cars like Saab and maybe BMW, so its not a new idea. Offering an add on heating option would be, but I dont see any real benifits of a cooled one or even a feasible way to do it.

I don't think the cooling option would be that difficult, my mom's aviator has cooled seats and man are those ever nice on a hot day:D

I used icy hot on my face once because i thoght it was the suntan lotoin. Boy did that hurt!
