What I really need to know is if I upgrade my 92 manual door shells to 98 manual door panels with the 98 linkage and handles, (and mount the switches in the center console so I won't need the factory switches) can I use the black inner panel with the locks and window regulator, motor, etc. from a 1988-98 truck.
Are the inner panels physically the same size and bolt pattern, but with maybe slight diffrences?
Thanks guys.

just a thought but if the door handles dont work you could always get some of those badazz street rod handles and work them into the panels since your redoing them anyways:D:head:

They're different, different locations etc... i took the panel off on my friend 94 silverado and it was totally different from the 95-98 power stuff. you might could mod and adapt it but im really not sure.

I thought so, but the info I am getting here now is no.. That is why I asked..
Another question.
Are the inner panels with the power equipment on then the same for the truck and the front doors of the tahoe?
Are the doors themselves interchangeable? What years?
