I am looking to get this steering wheel

http://www.grantproducts.com/images/prod/1035.jpeg

couple of questions..

1. I have glassed and smoothed and almost done with my interior..it is being painted factory metalic Maroon (sp?), would it look like crap if i painted the chrome part to match the interior...im really not into chrome or shiny stuff on the interior..lol

2. I know I have to get the adapter kit but i really dont want that black rubber piece that i see on the instilation kits (lack of a better word..looks like a rubber spring)..is there a alternative?

thanks!

If that's what you like...I would try it....you have to look at it more then anybody else.

Show them the color of your interior, they will matxh it up pretty damn close.:D Anodize is a clear "color". I think you're thinking of powdercoating.

You know another alternative is to get a billet wheel that has a satin finish. Colorado Custom does them that way, and it looks amazing in person. Something else to consider.
