so i went to the dealer today to buy some new door panels and the grab handles for them. but they said that the panels are discontinued. DAMN!! does anyone know where i can get these parts i really want them new not from the junk yard. any info would be very appreciated. Thanks.

well your probably going to HAVE to go to the junkyard or fleabay for the mean-time -- as far as I know no-one is making them aftermarket. You may be able to get the part number and see if GMpartsdirect has them as NOS or something.
The aftermarket companys are still focusing on 78-87 years.

Well that kind of sucks. but do you know if the newer model door panels would work, 96-98 or is the mounting and location of the window crank different. i doubt theyll fit but its worth a try asking. thank for the info.

If you get the OEM part numbers from the dealer, there are suppliers that deal with NOS OEM parts.

If you get the newer 96-98 outer door panels, you need the guts that are in the door also.

well thanks for the info KEITH and COSSETTE, what kind of guts are you talking about? I dont have power windows and stuff.

I mean those above. If you get 95-98 outer panel, you need 95-98 insides also. make sense?

Ok i get. I think ill hust stick with the older panels, thanks for the info anyway.
