Another 2-part contest!!



Part A: A repeat

Some of you weren't around to participate in the earlier contests. Others weren't happy with their results. So I want you guys to redo Contest #1. The limitations on the entries' file size and image size have both increased since we started doing this, and you guys have definitely improved in the quality of your work, so now I won't be surprised to see a lot of effort put into this.

Part B: A real project!

Not having any better hi res pics of the 67-72's, I thought you guys might enjoy the challenge of not working from stock, but actually finishing someone else's project. The resolution isn't as high as part 7A, but it's workable. I took this shot personally at Carlisle last year.

I really want to see what you guys can do with these and I know we have some newbies to bring up to speed, so I'm going to make the deadline Sunday, March 14th.

Max Image size: 1024 pixels high x 768 pixels wide
Max File size: 250KB each

Dont expect to win, but it was fun getting back in to it for the little time I did have.

yup, i got it... turnout overall wasn't too hot though... 4 altogether for the first part (all competing) and 5 edits for the second part, including Lowdown's and my own (both non-comp).

I should have both polls up and running tomorrow night.

damn only 4 people.. i woulda been in on this too if it wasnt for baseball taking up so much of my time lately.. oh well we're about to be heavy into the season so there wont be as much practice and i will have some free time when i'm not working.. :D

I sent the edit I did of the '72 in Chuggs. If its too late thats fine. Its clean looking but I didnt do much with it. And I just realized I sent it in without cropping it. :dunce:

I kinda liked the half finished '72 cause it took awhile and a lot of air brushing, and smudging to get the paint too look right and smooth.
