Geez, it's like yelling into a cave in here. Haven't any '73-'87 guys found this place yet? Respond if you're alive. ;)
I have an '84 GMC K5 Jimmy project that's pretty much dead in the water right now, but nonetheless. I still have one.

Hey, Annie. Good to be here. These guys have a great setup with the forums here. We just have to bring in the traffic to get them jumping. :D

 No, no updates. I'm about to just totally give up on it for a while. I'm making zero progress. That LT1 I have for it is starting to beg to be put in the '91. It's really tempting. I may end up doing it. I'll just build the '92 motor up for the Blazer for whenever I get some actual progress on it down the road.

Pretty much what I've been thinking. But if I decide to stick the LT1 in the '91, it'll still take quite a bit of money to do it. I still don't have a complete motor right now. Another thing is that the '91 is a stick. I want to keep it a stick, and I'm not sure it could take all the power from an LT1, on top of the fact that the pattern on that tranny is huge. I've got plenty to think about, though.
uhhh...What kinda skin are you talking about?

Why not just have a piece of metal cut to make a filler for the middle of the tailgate. That's what people do around here.
Yeah, Jason Farley at Affordable Customs is the only shop I really know of down there and like you say, his name doesn't quite fit. He charges a pretty penny.
LEDs are COOL!!! :D

2 words: AOL IM :D
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about in those pics. Are you going to weld the gate shut too? I don't know if I could ever do that.
6 GRAND!??!!?? For a solid color??? INSANE!!! I sometimes wonder what that man is smoking. But if you've ever seen his house in Grand Prarie, you'll know that there are quite a few people willing to pay his insane prices.

LMC truck accessories sells the skins for the tailgate and the tail light fillers also. Good to be here and maybe we will get some more traffic here.
