Y2K Silverado

I had to fill up with still a 1/2 tank in the truck which isn't much of a test, mileage was the same as the Walker, 14.5 mpg.. This was mostly around town driving and was 181 miles, which isn't much of a test. The real test came on the road trip I went on, up to the in-laws, truck got 18.38 mpg. On this same trip two weeks ago with the Walker Quiet-Flow on the truck, the mpg was 16.0, big difference. This tank should be back to my normal driving pattern which is 30% freeway and 70% city, I'll check it again. Performance is better also, last several 0-60 runs with the Walker on the truck, it ran in the 6.5 range. That is a little slower that it had been doing but it's warmed up around here and that's what I thought the reason probably was. After I filled up this morning, I did another 0-60 run, temp was in the 60's (same as last several Walker runs) and with a full tank of gas, truck ran 0-60 in 6.38 seconds. The truck really feels like it pulls much harder at the high end now, low end is about the same. The 0-40 times are in the same range as the Walker but the overall 0-60 time is quicker, leading me to think it's pulling better in the high rpm's. so far, I'm happy.
