alright ive started makin my center console which runs from the dash allllllll the way to the back. im installin the cd player 8inch(i think thats how big it is) screen, amp, gauges, lock switch and drvr side and pass side window switches. now the ?s

-how hard will it be to run the switches all the way to my console???
-where can i find a 2 inch round clock???? wanna set that between my gauges
-how do i got about makin cup holders???

-NOW THE HARD PART....my console is basically recessed into the dash itself to run with the angle of the dash and runs straight to the back and fits in there snug. how am i gonna get it out....fiberglass and paint it then put it back in?? its easy now cuz its in 2 pieces. was thinkin about fiberglassin the 2 seperate pieces then puttin them back in but dont know if that would look tacky... HELLLLLLLLLPPPPPP

thanks in advanced!!

1. Kinda easy. You will only have to run the wires in from the driver door. The driver window switches wires stay in the driver door. The pass wires come out into the kick panel, as well as the lock wires. So, basicly ALL you need to run into the truck from the driver door is the wires for the driver switch. You can get wiring colors from places online to figure out which wire is which in the kick panel, or just take the switches off the door and just check the wiring color there and find it in the kick panel with a multimeter.

2. I would either find a wrecked escalade and pull the clock out of that, or autometer makes one: http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=search.asp&type=bykeyword&searchtype=both&part=autometer+clock

3. I would either check online parts stores or, go by a local uphostlery(sp?) shop and just ask them. Most of the time they will have the cups that you can use to make cup holders. Basicly just make a hole and drop the cup in!

HAVE FUN!
