ok, i finnnnnnaly got my system installed, it is a deh-6600 pioneer deck, with an earthquake amp, and 2 koiiler subs, and at like 35 and up on my deck the bass sounds horrible, and muffles the treble, but in the 20's it sounds focking awesome!, it must be the gain is too high..right? and there is another screw labeled frequencey, and it has setting like "20 Hz and 5 KHz" WTF is that all about! i have no idea....

i need help bad, i want this to sound good!~

turn your volume to till it starts to bottom out.......... then turn your gain down till it sounds good. If it bottoms out it will damage your speakers. Also the hz is how low the speakers play. Set it how it sounds best but the lower you go the quicker you'll bottom out

is 20Hz-5k Hz is probably your crossover
is it on your sub amp?
if so, put it where you think 80Hz will be and you should have a setting that says LP or HP
put it on LP
